The N Team managed to squeeze in three days on the English Riviera last week before Little N returns to school on Thursday and many urgent jobs got pushed to one side to make way for what amounts to our Summer Holiday 2010 ! What a week I’ve just had ! Since last Monday’s show I’ve done 4 quiz nights with 52 teams taking part made up of 209 people – and now I am all quizzed out !! Not much of the content of those four nights would appeal to a die hard soul fan tuning in to the “Old Gits Soul Show”  so once again I am seeking refuge in between the grooves (if CDs have grooves that is !) of the fab tunes from the 70s & 80s that I have lined up for the latest installment of cool soul…

After spending most of this year moaning about a lack of work, and a lack of cash to go with it, suddenly August has gone mental and I hardly know whether I am coming or going. On top of that it is of course school holiday month and with a six year old son in my life…say no more !

So, not for the first time recently, it is nice to get in the studio for an hour, switch off from everything and just enjoy playing a few choice tunes from the 70s & 80s for you (although one is actually from much more recent times than that!)
