Daisy Dares You: ‘I’m not like Pixie Lott’
Daisy Dares You has rejected comparisons to Pixie Lott.
The singer, who released debut single ‘Number One Enemy’ on Monday, claimed that the two artists have different musical styles.
Daisy said “I’m new so you can’t blame people for comparing me with others because it takes time to get across who you really are,” .
“I don’t get the similarities with Pixie Lott though. We might be blonde, young and both from Essex, but our music and the concept is different.
“At the end of the day, comparisons should only really be made about the music that we’re making.”
The 16-year-old went on to praise a host of new acts who have emerged recently, claiming that they have brought more variety to the music industry.
“I’ve really liked Delphic ever since I saw them performing with the Friendly Fires last year. I’m a big fan of Hurts too – I got given this really good remix vinyl of theirs the other day, I think they’ll do really well,” she said.
“Everything that is out at the moment is really good, because everyone is a songwriter and doing different things to each other.”
Daisy Dares You recently announced that her debut album will be called Rush.
