Charles Peck, Gateway FM’s disabled member will reinforce what our station is all about on Sunday 6th December between 7-8pm as he takes to the airwaves live for an hour as part of our Alive and Kicking strand of shows.

Charles has achieved so much and now has his own one hour show!

As a visually impaired person he says he can now do a show thanks to the Awards for All National Lottery allowing us to buy certain equipment for our Disabled members.

Alive and Kicking is Gateway FM’s community show made by local people.  Some of the shows will feature The Basildon Lower and Upper Academy.

Some of the shows will be by Students from Thurrock 6th form college as part of the OCN course they did with us.

Some of the shows will be students from organisations like V-Involved and young people on work experience from school or college, or Ground Work South Essex.

Some of the shows will be from our Disabled members who took part in putting a show together as part of our National Lottery funding, and finally see our other Blog on disabled member Charles Peck.

These shows will be live on Gateway FM on Saturdays at 5-7pm, and Sundays 7-9pm.
